The Zenith reached a new world record of 195 watts (at 45 km/h) according to the tour test standard. This makes it currently the fastest racing bike in the world according to this measurement standard.
Weighing 850 g (size M), the frame is one of the lightest aero-optimized road bikes in its class. Pure aero frames currently weigh around 1000 g. As a set (including handlebar-stem unit), this results in weight savings of 150—200 g compared to other aero bikes - another 100 g more in RAW look.
Another important factor is stiffness, in particular bottom bracket stiffness of Over 65 Nm (newton meters) means optimal power transfer.The top values of the best racing bikes are over 60 Nm. The values of the top racing bikes exceed 60 Nm. The challenge is to produce a voluminous aero racing bike that is as light as possible and stiff at the same time.
The specifically designed seatpost solution by CarbonWorks optimizes comfort, especially in the seating area. This is crucial for a pleasant driving experience over longer distances. Aero road bikes tend to be stiff overall. The Zenith combines stiffness in the bottom bracket with comfort in the seating area.
